Delroy "Junior" Reid treated Toronto fans to a free outdoor concert, as part of the Luminato Festival, on June 14th. It was a wicked show, Junior was riding classic riddims backed by a local band- with only one hour of practice they were well hot!! Highlights were an up tempo Golden Hen Riddim - Babylon Release The Chain- (boom tune!) a killa medley on the Intercom Riddim- with Barrington Levy's Black Rose, Dennis Brown's Revolution, finishing up with the World Jam Riddim- Ini Kamoze's World A Music - out in the streets they call it... and the crowd shouted MURDER, as they shut down the sound for the night. Junior left the audience wanting more as he let out the first line of Boom Shack-A-Lack, before exiting the stage. Yes Junior - nice one - be sure to come back soon! In the meantime check some Junior clips and his latest mixtape longside the One Blood Family:
